Stanford Health Care adopts Microsoft AI copilot organizationwide unknown
Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care is rolling out an AI copilot from Microsoft's Nuance enterprisewide after a successful pilot with the technology.
Stanford will deploy Nuance's DAX Copilot, which uses generative AI to automate clinical note taking during patient visits, throughout its entire organization, according to a March 11 news release from Nuance.
This decision comes after the health system began piloting the tool within its Epic EHR in 2023.
According to a survey from Stanford, 96% of its physicians stated that DAX was easy to use, while 78% of its physicians reported that it expedited clinical note taking.
