Faye, a Tel Aviv-based startup focused on redefining insurance for travelers, has partnered with Israeli healthtech company Air Doctor to launch a new telemedicine service.

Faye currently offers an all-digital system of 24/7 assistance, quick claims resolutions, and reimbursements to benefit the American consumer.

The company’s recent collaboration with Air Doctor, a Jerusalem-based startup that matches travelers with physicians abroad, is a new telemedicine platform that will allow travelers to access near-instant voice and video consultations from a network of 20,000 doctors and services in 75 countries.

Users will be able to message the support team through Faye’s app and select a doctor by specialty, location and language in order to hold a video call or schedule a fully covered appointment.

“Speed to market is not trivial in insurance, which as we know is an industry bogged down by a lot of bureaucracy and state by state restrictions,” said Faye CEO Elad Schaffer, who co-founded the company in 2019 with CTO Daniel Green.

“We’re proud of how quickly we move and plan to take that same approach in additional, international markets in the near future.”
