AvoMD, a New York-based provider of a no-code platform for clinicians and hospitals to build apps, raised $5M in Seed funding.

The round was led by AlleyCorp, with participation from Las Olas, Epsilon Health, MedMountain Ventures, Dr. Kavita Patel, Venture Partner, and existing investors Mirae and Dunamu. Other investors included Columbia University, Mount Sinai Innovation Partners, StartUp Health, and 500 Startups.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its business reach.

Led by Joongheum Park, MD, Chairman and Head of Product/Engineering, Dr. Yair Saperstein, Chief Resident, and Laurence Coman, AvoMD is an AI-enabled, no-code application builder that lets clinicians and hospitals build their own applications that work for specialty, care setting, clinician type, including use cases like interactive clinical guidelines (i.e. sepsis, COVID), medical calculators, billing support, documentation automation, and more. The company has already developed standardized integrations with electronic health record systems, allowing organizations to efficiently deploy the solution. AvoMD also supports AI model integration, which enables doctors to incorporate clinical predictions based on AI at the point of care.
